Casa de las Botellas

House made entirely of plastic bottles and recycled materials was built by Alfredo Santa Cruz and his family in Puerto Iguazu, near the border between Brazil and Argentina. Its walls are plastic bottles 1200, its roof more than 1,300 cartons of Tetra Pack, doors and windows up 140 boxes of CDs, about 120 chairs, plastic bottles and her bed, another 200 bottles.

Teofilo Allou Carvings Museum

Located in the heart of the jungle, in Puerto Iguazú, this museum exhibits the life and work of Rodolfo T. Allou, a self-taught artist who worked tirelessly native timber, while on a journey through the history of the local community.Native animals, popular, religious, regional legends live in this museum created 60 years ago by the artist, where the visitor intends to delve into the roots of this land full of adventures.Allou Don spent much of his life looking for ways into the wood and scenarios reflecting, at that time, the national territory of Misiones. Pioneer player in the formation of the town, Allou was passionate about high Parana forest, where figures was to his tools, or simply found them on branches, vines or roots that made him the mountain missionary in its path.This museum, which reopened in December 2009 with a new museology, is located at Km 5 Route 12, access the Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Iguazu
